We sold our 64 1/2 Mustang. My parents bought it new & it was my high school transportation. I LOVE this car! When my mom turned 80 it was then stored in her garage for several years. When she moved in with us at 89 she gave me the car & we restored it over the next few years. It was not in the best of shape. We took it to car shows & had fun with it. We put way more $$ into it than we originally intended. It spent most of it's time in the garage with a cover over it. The car shows got old. We decided to try to get our $$ out of it if possible & put it up for sale. It sold within a few weeks to an international buyer from Denmark. We brought her back to life & now she will be a world traveler (moreso than me : ) The "Tang" leaves for overseas on Monday. I have very mixed feelings & know I will miss her but practicality comes into place here. No one else in the family wanted to buy her so off she goes to win car shows in Denmark ....
