Favorite Shop of the Day - American Harvest
Halloween in August!
Pam, Elizabeth & I were invited to a private Halloween party at American Harvest in Pleasanton, CA. This is the darling invitation photo. What fun! We met some other wonderful ladies there, including local artists & fellow bloggers. The shop was all decked out in it's Trick or Treat finest. Sharon has the most wonderful treasures for sale there.
We were asked to come "donned in our finest crown, tiara or fanciful hat".
I decided against wearing my Dream crown as it is so tall & didn't look right with my tiny head : ) It fits Hannah the mannequin much better.
Instead I made a newer shorter crown for the occasion & made it out of an American Harvest gift bag! Why not? They have such pretty toile paper bags.
Pam bought Elizabeth & I these wonderful "Opera Fairy" exclusive charms from A. H. What a sweetie! I love it!!
I immediately recognized Ulla when she came through the door in her famous earrings.
Lucille, Ulla, Sharon, Elizabeth & Me (taking a nap). Elizabeth made her tall pointy hat out of fabrics. So cute. Pam is the photographer.
Colleen, Iva, Sharon, Inga, Lucille. More fun hats & crowns. Ulla is the photographer.
Me, Sharon, Pam & Elizabeth. Sharon's Rodger is the photographer.
Look at all the goodies in the shop. The next four photos I believe are all Lauren Mumford art.
This wonderful big poster is hung over the front counter.
It was a fun festive party evening.
