Yesterday my camera did not want to download, today it does. Computers have a mind of their own. Not the best pics as it is dark & foggy outside so natural light is at a minimum.

Also, I'm still having fun with the crochet practice. Here's a scarf I completed last week with two different yarns. It's hard to tell in the pic but the oatmeal yarn has little blue & lilac flakes in it. Don't look too close though - remember, I am a novice. I can't seem to make anything without embellishing it. I'd put buttons on my face if I could. When I was a toddler I even put a button up my nose & had to go to the docs to have it taken out.

On the whole scarf subject I was just reading my friend PKM's blog yesterday & she & Elizabeth had the same thing in mind. They purchased already made scarves & hats & added embellishments. It turns out we both bought the same book (shown on Elizabeth's blog) on crocheting flowers. They even made an online PDF pattern for you to print out.
