Last week was a quilt filled week. First I picked up three quilts from my longarm quilter that just need binding now. When I got home there was a big box from Leisure Arts on my front doorstep. It was all the quilts from my latest book which recently came back from quilt market. Now, where am I going to put these?
Aside from Christmas shopping I just had to stop at some of my favorite thrifrt stores. Found some pretty dishes in my fav colors.
This Victorian cup & saucer reminded me of my mom & will reside with mom's collection of antique teacups & chocolate cups.
I love this old French pitcher. I can just see it on a country kitchen table filled with fresh milk. I have a pen tablet instead of a mouse for my computer which really helps my carpal tunnel. I am constantly knocking over the pen as the holder slot is very shallow. It usually falls right in my waste basket. Not good. Anyway when I saw the inkwell I thought it might work better as it is deeper & it works out great.
A few weeks ago we took a drive to Napa & the grape vines were all turning color for fall. It was just beautiful.
From Fall to Winter in the blink of an eye. Here are some snowy pics from our recent trip to visit our friends in Minden, Nevada.
Brrr, it got down to -1 degrees one night.
Where is the street? Where are the curbs?
The bare tree branches were just covered with ice, simply beautiful.
Okay, okay I'm sorting through my Italy pics next.
